The Proscientia project is administered under the Research Council and works to promote interest in research and science among young people aged 13-21, from the lower through the upper secondary school levels and into the first year after completed schooling.
The Proscientia project organises or administers the following activities:
For over 40 years young people in Norway have submitted projects in tough competition for cash prizes and the opportunity to participate in international contests and other activities for young scientists.
A competition held annually in collaboration with the Freedom of Expression Foundation – Fritt Ord.
Competitions in technology, mathematics and the natural sciences for pupils at lower and upper secondary school levels.
